Presidency of
the Republic
The International Cervantino Festival,
the most important artistic event in the Americas, will be held in Guanajuato, Mexico from October 7 to 25.
The following issues will be addressed this year: “The Science of Art.
The Art of Science,” and “Transitions.” This year, the guest countries are Chile,
Colombia and Peru, which, together with Mexico comprise the Pacific Alliance. The guest
state is Morelos.
Three weeks of performing
arts, film, master classes, conferences, dance, debates and scientific discussions; late nights, poetry readings, roundtables,
early music, chamber music and soloists; world music, opera and vocal music; orchestras and ensembles; street talks, book
presentations, workshops and theater.
