President Enrique Peña Nieto on Mexico's Reforms of 2013


In a December message to the people of Mexico, President Enrique Peña Nieto applauded a number of "Reforms" and "Actions" accomplished in 2013, his first year in office.  In the three minute video, "Actions 2013 -- Transformative Reforms" (go to the link below, in Spanish), the President trumpets reforms in the following areas: Energy; Education; Telecommunications; Financial; Fiscal/Taxation; as well as a new Amparo (writ of protective injunction, similar to habeas corpus) Law; and General Victims Law.
