The task of remodeling U.S. policy should be less difficult in this hemisphere than it
will be in other regions of the world. As the next President contemplates how to revive U.S. prestige and diminished influence
worldwide, Latin America may be the right place to begin. The cost should be lower and the payoff quicker.
